Why is England bashing Vancouver Olympics? - Gold Theories
| Why is England bashing Vancouver Olympics? I just finished watching the hockey game of canada vs. the US for gold. I am from Vancouver, born and raised, I am currently living in England. Sadly. All through the game the english were dropping really snide remarks, and while watching other games, they still do these little snide and rude comments abour Canada. I also looked up news stories on vancouver and it came up with nothing but harsh, cruel, disgusting comments from the english bashing canada. WHY?! I now Canada has been acting made with spirit, but Canada has a lot of that and we have never had a chance to show the world. Is England just worried they wont be able to pull of that kind of spirit? Or break a gold medal record like Canada? I'm not at alll trying to be a show off, but seriously, the english are acting like little ballerina stomping their feet for not getting their way. When Amy Williams took gold I was cheering, but seriously, why are the English so harsh on Vancouver right now? Opinons and theories are welcome and if this question isnt deleted i will pick a best answer. And please don't write rude things about Canada or England. It's quite blatant England is acting badly towards the 2010 games, and I just want to know why, nothing rude. THANK YOU! |
| We might not exactly know the reason behind why England keeps on bashing Vancouver. This might be a reason for jealousy or perhaps due to strong competition between two parties. Basically, checking the history, there might have unresolved issues between these two countries, which make them harsh to one another until now. Even provinces and nearby islands in a certain nation are experiencing such disgusting acts. But, then we hope for a peaceful world. |
