I came across a Thomas Gold and wondered whether there was anything to pick from his name. Born in 1920, he was an astrophysicist born in Austria, astronomy professor at Cornell University among other academic credentials.

One among three Cambridge scientists, in the 1950s they proposed the 'steady state', the now abandoned hypothesis about the universe. His work seemingly crossed numerous boundaries.

Out of curiosity, are his theories of use in the gold mining circles?
